A source in Zamalek revealed the truth of the Zamalek negotiations to include the player, Mohamed Masaad, the playmaker of the Modern Sport team, and joined the white team in the next season.

The source confirmed in statements to Cairo 24, that Zamalek did not negotiate Modern Club at all to include the player, despite the distinguished level and capabilities of the player, but Zamalek did not negotiate to include him currently on the white team.
The source added that there were oral contacts with the player himself on the part of some in Zamalek to find out his position on Zamalek in the event of entering into negotiations to include him at any time, and the player welcomed the joining of Zamalek at any time.
