Representative Samira Al -Jazzar, a member of the House of Representatives for the Egyptian Social Democratic Party, presented urgent questions to Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications, regarding the renewal of the burning of fire inside the Ramses Central Building for the second time within days, which raised questions about the efficiency of the crisis management and safety standards within the ministry’s facilities.
A deputy demands an investigation into the renewal of the Ramses Central fire and hold “communications” responsibility
Al -Jazzar asked about the real reasons behind the renewed fire, and the absence of alternative plans to ensure the continuity of Internet services and communications that stopped in a number of vital areas, noting the great damage to the infrastructure, and the ministry held the responsibility for neglect and negligence, calling for accountability of officials and the development of an urgent plan to compensate the affected and quickly return the service, while thanking the civil protection men for the speed of dealing with the accident.

She added that the repetition of the accident reveals a clear defect in safety and security standards within communications facilities, and a bad in automated firefighting systems and dealing with emergency, in addition to poor coordination between the relevant authorities to delay the speed of response to disasters.
The deputy demanded that all measures be taken to determine the reasons for the renewal of the fire, again, and is there a default or neglect that led to its occurrence? With the accountability of those responsible for negligence and the review of safety and security procedures in all central and buildings of the ministry, in addition to setting an urgent plan to compensate the affected people and ensuring the return of service to citizens as soon as possible.
