Counselor/ Mohamed El -Shennawi, Chairman of the Administrative Prosecution Authority, decided In order to complete the investigations conducted by the technical office of the Chairman of the Commission for Investigations, headed by Counselor Khairy Moawad, a team of members of the technical office of the head of the commission for investigations headed by Counselor Ahmed Al -Tabakh, and the membership of: Counselor/ Mohamed Al -Sofani, Counselor/ Wael Ezzat, and Counselor/ Rami Junaidi, and under the supervision of Counselor/ Mohamed Hamed – Undersecretary of the office, this morning, Wednesday, July 16, 2025; A comprehensive inspection of the Ramses Central building and the International Communications Building attached to it.
The Media Center at the Administrative Prosecution, on the date of Monday, July 7, has monitored what was circulated by the various news sites from a huge fire in the main central building of Ramses, which resulted in loss of life and property, and by examining the incident and presenting it to His Excellency the Counselor/ Mohamed El -Shennawi – the head of the commission, directed his sovereignty to open an urgent investigation into the incident in front of the technical office of the head of the commission for investigations.
The investigation team has conducted a comprehensive inspection of the main building consisting of eleven floors, and the building attached to international communications consisting of six floors and connected to the main building through a corridor suspended between the two buildings “cross In the telecommunications network.
After the end of the inspection, the prosecution ordered that the specialists of the Telecom Egypt be assigned to the following:
1) Follow -up to the issuance of the reports of all technical and financial committees formed to determine the causes and effects of the fire, the extent of the availability of civil protection requirements for the prevention of fire risks and periodic maintenance operations of devices and equipment, and occupational safety and health procedures, and limiting the losses and damages of the incident in life and property.
2) Follow up on the restoration and maintenance work of the main central building and the attached building, and take all necessary measures to preserve lives and public and private property.
Investigations are being completed.
