The White House stressed that US President Donald Trump is the end of the war in Gaza is a top priority.
White House spokeswoman Caroline Levit said that the Qataris and the Egyptians were useful partners to mediate peace and end of conflict in Gaza.
She added that President Saif Witkeov’s envoy will go to Doha later this week, to discuss the ceasefire in Gaza.
Indications on an imminent agreement to stop the war on Gaza
She noted that Trump will discuss with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the proposal to a ceasefire in Gaza, as well as other issues.
The White House explained that the Trump administration continues to direct and indirect communication with Iran to reach an agreement.
Earlier yesterday, US President Donald Trump said he believed the ceasefire agreement in Gaza will be implemented this week.
In press statements, Trump added that it is possible that a good number of Israeli detainees in the Gaza Strip can come out through a deal with Hamas.
The US President stressed that there is a good opportunity to reach an agreement with Hamas.
This comes before an upcoming meeting with Netanyahu at the White House on Monday.
