Today, Sunday, July 20, the National Elections Authority has set, to be the deadline for the candidates to assign the Senate elections to run in the electoral marathon.

The day before yesterday, the electoral propaganda period for the candidates, which will last for 14 days, ends at twelve o’clock on Thursday, 31 of this month, after which the period of electoral silence began according to the schedule prepared by the commission.
The National Elections Authority announced the final list of candidates for the Senate elections individually in Cairo Governorate 2025, which includes personalities from various political parties along with a number of independents, in preparation for competition for the seats allocated to the province during the upcoming electoral entitlement.
The Senate elections are held this year according to a timetable announced by the National Elections Authority, where the elections are held for Egyptians abroad on August 1 and 2, 2025, while the country is held on August 4 and 5, 2025, with the return round to be held if it is found on August 27 and 28 inside Egypt, and August 25 and 26 abroad, and the final result is announced on September 4, 2025.
