The University of Bahrain Technology (UTB) celebrated the organization of the seventh edition of the Entrepreneurial Development Program (EDP), in an event that devoted the spirit of innovation and creativity, and brought together a group of entrepreneurs, academic experts, graduates and parents, to see the entrepreneurship projects provided by students of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences. This event is an affirmation of the university’s firm commitment to enhancing the culture of entrepreneurship and enabling the next generation of business leaders, through an educational environment that merges the theory with practical application.
The program aims to encourage students to develop their own projects, and refine their practical skills in entrepreneurship, in addition to providing them with the opportunity to communicate with sector experts and inspiring entrepreneurs.
The program is based on the approach of Bahrain University of Technology, which puts the student at the heart of the educational process, where the program was designed to provide students with tools, knowledge and trust to turn their ideas into applicable pioneering solutions, which respond to the challenges of the real world.
In this context, the university president, Dr. Hassan Al -Mulla, saying: “The Entrepreneurial Development Program is a vital platform to enable young people to convert their innovative ideas into applicable projects in the market. We believe that young people are the driving force of any society, and we strive to provide them with the skills and knowledge that enables them to achieve their aspirations. ”
For his part, the Vice President for Academic Affairs d. Haytham Al -Qahtani, during his opening speech, on the importance of the program by saying: “This initiative embodies the university’s commitment to building a generation of change in change, by bridging the gap between the academic circles and business sectors and industry, and providing students with the skills necessary to cause an effective impact in their societies and abroad.”
