Our national wrestling team will participate in the championship championship, organized by the Hungarian Wrestling Federation under the supervision of the International Wrestling Federation in the period 15-19 July in the Hungarian capital Budapest, which is witnessing wide participation by the international classified wrestlers.
The tournament is important to our national team, especially at the level of players in order to classify the advanced positions, which qualifies them for qualified posts.
The delegation of the national wrestling team is chaired by a member of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Wrestling Federation, Mr. Kamal Jamal Kamal, and it includes: coach of the Federation coach Elder Eldarov, and the team consists of players Ali Beck Al -Bikov, who participates in the 65 kg competitions, Mohamed Rasoul Aslouif, who participates in the 74 kg competitions, and the city of Sifodinov, who participates in the 79 kg competitions, and Muhammad Charipov, who participates in a 92 kg competition, and the Olympic champion Ahmed Taj Al -Dinov, who participates in the 97 kg and Charipov competitions, who participates in 125 kg competition.
For his part, the President of the Bahrain Wrestling Federation, Mr. Abdul -Reda Abdul Hussein Haji, valued the care and support of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports, Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee for Martial Games, especially wrestling sport. We also commend the continuous follow -up of His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Muhammad Al Khalifa, Vice -President of the General Authority for Sports, Chairman of the Bahraini Council for Martial Games, as this contributed to raising the level and performance of Bahraini wrestling and pushed it to compete and achieve achievements in various posts, and this is what we aspire to continue in the championship championship in which our national team will participate.
He stressed that this participation comes after the distinguished achievement that the team recently achieved in the International Spain Championship, where it won 5 colored medals, including 4 gold medals and a bronze medal, which ranked first in the overall ranking of the teams participating in the Freestyle competition. The team made strong shows that received wide technical praise, which reflects the development of the game level in the Kingdom.
He said: “The championship championship represents a new challenge for the national team, through which we aim to enhance the balance of our players from the rankings and gain more friction and technical experience, especially since the team is awaiting global participation in the coming period.”
He added, “The federation continues its support for the national team through the studied plan that has been developed, and we are working to provide all needs to prepare players in the best way, and we are very confident in the capabilities of the players in providing the best levels and returning with honorable results, as is the custom in previous championships, and emphasizing the status of Bahraini wrestling and the extent of its development in international forums.”
Russian camp in preparation for the tournament
The national team organized a training camp in Russia, which comes as part of the team’s preparations to participate in the championship championship in Hungary.
The camp witnessed the attendance and follow -up of the President of the Bahrain Wrestling Federation, where he conveyed to the members of the national team the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice -President of the General Authority for Sports, Chairman of the Bahraini Council for Martial Games, and His Highness’s wishes for success and success.
Haji praised the great technical levels presented by the team members in the international championship of Spain, which was held recently in the Spanish capital, Madrid, noting the need to continue to appear in the honorable image in the classification championship, in order to obtain the classifications that enhance the presence of the players of the team in the upcoming classification championships, which is of great importance to compete for the qualification card for the wrestling competition for the Los Angeles 2028, wishing them all the best and success This new challenge.
