A source denied the reports a short time ago, regarding the death of the global surgeon, Dr. Magdy Yaqoub, in the last hours of some social media pages and groups.
The source confirmed to Cairo 24, that Dr. Magdy Yaqoub, known internationally as the title of King of Hearts, is currently in England and what is being promoted is just unfounded rumors.

Earlier, the global heart surgeon examined the doctor Majdi YaqoubThe initial models of his new statue, which is currently being worked on in preparation for placing him in the Kit Kat Square in Giza Governorate, in order to commemorate his medical and humanitarian career for decades.
Dr. Yaqoub received the span of the artwork, which embodies his features, values and inspiring journey, and he said with his usual humility: I am not looking for statues .. It is enough for me to see hope in the eyes of the children who have been recovered.
The statue, which is working on a senior Egyptian sculptor, is 14 meters long, and it is scheduled to be completed within 8 months, under the full supervision of Giza Governorate, to be a technical and cultural teacher in one of the most famous fields of the capital.
The sculptor, who is responsible for the project, said that the work is not satisfied with highlighting the features of Dr. Yaqoub, but rather seeks to embody his strong relationship with children and patients and his students, explaining that the design is inspired by real humanitarian cases that Yaqoub lived in his hospitals inside and outside Egypt.
For its part, Giza Governorate confirmed that the project comes within a plan to develop the major squares and turn them into cultural and artistic spaces that carry national and humanitarian symbols, noting that the choice of Dr. Magdy Yaqoub reflects the popular and official appreciation of his accomplishments.
A number of public, medical and artistic personalities were keen to attend the inspection, amid a state of great impact and admiration, as the attendees considered that the statue is not only a tribute to Dr. Yaqoub, but a message of inspiration for new generations that medicine could be a path to eternity, if associated with mercy.
