Syrian President Ahmed Al -Sharaa affirmed the state’s commitment to “protecting minorities” in the country and holding all the “violated from any party” after violence in the Druze majority province of As -Suwayda, which killed more than 700 people in a week. Al -Shara said in a speech addressed to the Syrians: “The Syrian state is committed to protecting all minorities and sects in the country and it is continuing to hold all those who are violated from any party.”
