Al -Azhar University, Assiut branch, launched a free medical convoy in all medical specialties to the Tama Center and City in Sohag Governorate, under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Mounir Rayan, Dr. Haitham Abdel -Azim, agents of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Sherif Mutawa Abdel -Fadil, Director of the Hospital, Dr. Mohamed Bahaa, Director of Foreign Clinics and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Baset, Director of Infection Control and General Coordinator Coordinator, within the framework of community participation towards the people of Sohag Governorate.

This came within the framework of the community participation of the Al -Azhar Foundation, a university and a university with state institutions, and to lift the suffering of the community, and under the auspices of the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al -Tayeb, Sheikh of Al -Azhar, Dr. Salama Dawood, President of Al -Azhar University, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Malik, Vice President of the University for Upper Egypt, Dr. Mahmoud Seddik, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies on the Hospital Sector, and Dr. Ibrahim Shaalan, Dean of the College and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University Hospital in Assiut.
Dr. Mohamed Abdel -Malik, Vice President of the University for the Upper Egypt, said that the Al -Azhar medical convoy, which was directed from Al -Azhar University Hospital in Assiut, to some of the Sohag centers, implemented the target from them, and the medical examination was signed for more than 1,200 citizens.
Dr. Ibrahim Shaalan, Dean of the College, explained that all medical specialties were provided and the necessary treatment was provided free And its safety, in addition to the awareness and guidance sessions carried out by the doctors and nursing sets for citizens, in cooperation with the Sharia Association in Tama Coast and the Health Administration at the Tama Center.
This medical convoy comes within the framework of continuing the societal role played by Al -Azhar Medicine Hospitals in Assiut to reach patients in all places in the governorate besides the educational, awareness and guidance role in the medical field, where the medical convoy was received with a warm welcome and thanks to Al -Azhar University Medicine Hospitals in Assiut for its support and permanent assistance to citizens and the most distant and most needy areas in the governorate.
More than 25 specialized doctors from all disciplines and departments included: dermatology, internal diseases, surgery, children, bones, ophthalmology, nose, ear, throat, women, obstetrics, chest diseases, rheumatism, rehabilitation, heart, blood vessels and pharmacy.
