Mrs. Ghada Humaid Habib, Secretary -General of Grievances, received today, Wednesday, in her office in the suburb of Al -Saif, Ambassador Lawrence Westhouf, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain and residing in the State of Kuwait, on a farewell visit on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic period.
During the meeting, the Secretary -General of Grievances expressed her appreciation for the efforts made by the Ambassador Wethazouf throughout his work, which contributed to the consolidation of cooperation relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, in many fields, to serve the interests of the two countries common.
After that, the Secretary -General of Grievances during her meeting with the Dutch Ambassador dealt with the total works and activities of the grievances during the last period and its contribution to enhancing the concepts of transparency and respecting human rights within the law enforcement institutions in the Kingdom, as part of a comprehensive and firm national vision, for his part, the Dutch ambassador expressed his appreciation for the role played by the General Secretariat of grievances in the scope of its qualitative specialization, and the contributing to the promotion of human rights culture in Bahrain.
At the end of the meeting, the Secretary -General of Grievances hoped the success of the Dutch ambassador in his future diplomatic career, confirming that the secretariat welcomed the provision of bridges of constructive communication with all the parties interested in identifying their role and work, including the diplomatic missions approved in Bahrain. The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Mohammed bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Development.
