In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Authority for Sports, Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, the General Sports Authority held a meeting with the Bahrain Football Association to discuss its special preparations for the football season 2025/2026.
The meeting witnessed the attendance of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Football Association, Dr. Abdul Rahman Sadiq Askar, CEO of the General Authority for Sports, members of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Football Association Sheikh Ahmed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Sheikh Salman bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa, and Mr. Rashid Al Zoubi, Secretary -General of the Federation, along with a number of officials in the General Sports Authority.
Dr. Abdul Rahman Sadiq Askar stressed at the beginning of the meeting on the extent of the keenness of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa to create all circumstances and harness all capabilities to make the federation competitions successful, in a way that contributes to continuing excellence in the local championship levels, as well as the readiness of the main stadiums in which the football season will be organized, along with programming competitions in proportion to the participation of national teams and local clubs externally, where the two parties agreed on the importance of coordinating efforts and joint work To implement the directives, and ensure the continuity of the development of sports facilities in a way that contributes to achieving hopes and aspirations.
