His Excellency Mr. Ahmed bin Salman Al -Muslim, Speaker of the House of Representatives, affirmed the keenness to invest digital transformation and artificial intelligence, in developing parliamentary work and serving the legislative authority, in a way that contributes to increasing achievements and accelerating performance qualitatively and developed, in order to achieve the royal vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect him and his care, support and follow -up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Prime Minister, may God protect him.
He pointed out to His Excellency the importance of keeping pace with the technological development and modern technologies in all work paths, according to a national vision, and taking into account professional and moral standards, praising the projects, initiatives and qualitative programs in the digital transformation, and thanks to the national cadres from the “Bahrain Team”.
This came during the reception of His Excellency, today, Monday, His Excellency Eng. Mohamed Ibrahim Al -Sisi Al -Buainain, Secretary -General of the House of Representatives, on the occasion of the Bahrain Parliament Award for Digital Content (BDCA) for the year 2025 for the category of integration and empowerment, for the MP Portal platform project.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Yasser Saqr Al -Shirawi, Assistant Secretary -General for Resources and Services, Mr. Jassim Al -Qanas, Director of Information Technology Department, and Mr. Farouk Abdulaziz, Head of Information Systems, Applications and Artificial Intelligence in the General Secretariat of the House of Representatives.
For his part, His Excellency Eng. Mohamed Ibrahim Al -Sisi Al -Buainain, Secretary -General of the House of Representatives, extended sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Speaker of the House of Representatives, for the unlimited support and continuous directives, to develop parliamentary work, and provide all qualitative services, which highlight comprehensive progress in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Referring to a number of projects, initiatives and parliamentary technical programs in digital transformation and artificial intelligence provided by the General Secretariat of the MPs, and communication platforms with society, such as the deputy platform, parliamentary advisor, digital legal, the application of “deputies” that works on smartphones, smart researcher, the voice summary “podcast”, the information platform, the digital analysis session, the electronic discipline “,” And applications of “electronic voting” system, “tools” system and “notifications” system, along with a data platform and others.
Stressing the General Secretariat’s keenness to achieve the aspirations and goals, according to a strategic, technical and developed plan, and work in the spirit of one team, in order to provide the finest services, according to the best technical practices, which support legislative work, and constitute a leading model at the level of parliamentary work in the region.
