Within the framework of Bahraini participation in organizing and leading the competitions of the twenty -sixth edition of the Arab Basketball Championship for Men’s Women’s teams, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain during the period from July 25 to August 2, the Bahrain Basketball Federation announced the nomination of Bahraini international referee Adel Ghuloom to participate in the official arbitration team of the tournament.
On this occasion, Mr. Tariq Al -Arabi, Chairman of the Referees Committee of the Bahrain Basketball Federation, affirmed that the nomination of international referee Adel Ghuloom came based on his long career in arbitration and his extensive experience in managing foreign international matches.
Al -Arabi said: “We trust in the capabilities of the referee, Adel Ghuloom, and we look forward to presenting an honorable image of Bahraini arbitration during this important tournament, and its presence within the constellation of Arab referees is evidence of the position we have reached thanks to the continuous support and development.”
In a related context, the Arab Basketball Federation nominated the Bahraini international observer, Fadel Karakosh, to participate in the technical committee of the championship, in appreciation of his extensive experience and high efficiency in the field of organization and technical supervision of regional and international championships.
These two candidates confirm the prominent presence of Bahraini competencies in various aspects of the championship, whether in terms of arbitration or the technical side, which reflects the great progress made by Bahraini basketball at all levels.
