The next 6 -day weather .. A very hot wave strikes the country during the last week of July

The Meteorological Authority announced its expectations for the weather during the period from Tuesday, July 22 to Sunday, July 27, 2025, where temperatures continue to rise gradually throughout the republic, with a weather described as very hot day, and a moist hot on the northern coasts, while a wet heat weather prevails at night and early in the morning.

The authority explained that the high humidity rates will increase the feeling of the heat of the weather with values ranging between 2 to 4 degrees Celsius higher than the degrees recorded in the shade, which increases the feeling of heat stress, especially in peak times.

Water Shabwara and active winds

During this period, the country is witnessing a morning waterbed daily from 4 to 8 am, especially on agricultural and fast roads near water bodies, and includes areas from the north of the country to Greater Cairo, through the northern coasts, the sea face, the cities of the canal and central Sinai, and may be dense in some areas.

The winds are sometimes active at intermittent periods, starting from Tuesday on the northwestern coasts, and extends to most of the parts from Wednesday to Sunday, which may help reduce the relative sensation of moisture in some periods.

Expected temperatures

Great and physical temperatures record a remarkable increase during the next six days, and expectations come as follows:

  • In Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, maximum temperatures range from 38 to 41 degrees Celsius, with an actual feeling that exceeds 43 degrees in some days.
  • As for the northern coasts, they record great temperatures between 32 to 35 degrees Celsius, and the perceived reaches about 37 or 38 ° C, due to the high humidity rates.
  • In the north of Upper Egypt, the Great ranges between 38 to 41 degrees Celsius, with significant degrees of up to 43 degrees.
  • South of Upper Egypt is the most affected by the hot wave, where the great ranges between 43 to 45 degrees Celsius, and the tangible is recorded in some days to 45 degrees.

The General Meteorological Authority advised citizens to take the necessary precautions during the daytime periods, especially between noon and afternoon, in order to avoid direct exposure to sunlight and reduce the chances of heat stress, and also stressed the need to drink sufficient quantities of water, wear light cotton clothes, and stay away from poor ventilation places.
