The first team received the first Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, today, Ghada Hamid Habib, Secretary -General of the General Secretariat of Grievances, in the presence of Sheikh Nasser bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister welcomed the Secretary -General of Grievances, praising the professional performance of the General Secretariat and its role in consolidating the approach to reform, justice, the rule of law and human rights principles.
He stressed that human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain, an integral part of the originality of Bahraini society, its customs and its traditions and a basic axis in all areas of security work, explaining that the development of programs and initiatives that contribute to enhancing community security comes from the royal visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and who created human rights and supervisory institutions and worked to enhance its role with the aim of consolidating The human rights system, praising the continuous support provided by the esteemed government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, to implement projects aimed at strengthening the approach to building and societal cohesion.
His Excellency pointed out that the development of the mechanisms of the work of the supervisory bodies, and the enhancement of the principles of transparency, accountability and construction interaction with the regulatory authorities, contributes to raising the performance rates and the quality of the services provided.
During the meeting, the minister received a copy of the annual report of the General Secretariat of Grievances, directing the relevant departments to the speedy response to the points contained in it related to the work of the Ministry of Interior, based on the community partnership strategy.
For its part, the Secretary -General of Grievances expressed her thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of the Interior, noting that the cooperation shown by the ministry contributes to the success of the role of the General Secretariat and the performance of the tasks assigned to it.
