The Egyptian Pharmaceutical Authority has issued a warning publication regarding the presence of imitators from the Comfort Lens Care Solution, its operation No. 10235, based on the company’s statement about the detection of the trading of packages that do not match the original specifications.
The Pharmaceutical Authority warns of counterfeit packages for a composition to care for contact lenses
The Pharmaceutical Authority confirmed that it was decided to stop the trading of the aforementioned preparation, withdraw, control and seize all the imitated packages of it, stressing that this procedure is limited to the operation specified in the post, and the rest of the operations in general in general are not applied in the markets.
The Pharmaceutical Authority explained that in the event of doubt about any package of the product, the pharmacist or citizen must contact directly with the Egyptian Medicine Authority through the hotline 15301 or through the official website of the authority, where a link has been made available that allows the images of imitation packages to facilitate identification.
The authority stressed the continuation of its efforts to protect citizens from counterfeit or adulterated products, and to ensure the arrival of safe and effective medicines and medical supplies to all dealers in the Egyptian market.
The Comfort Lens Care Solution is used as a multi -purpose solution for cleaning, rinsing, sterilizing and storing contact lenses.
