The head of the Narcotics Crime Prosecution stated that the First Grand Criminal Court had issued a ruling yesterday to condemn the accused, for what was assigned to them in bringing, possession, and obtaining narcotic substances and mental effects for the purpose of selling and abuse, and ruled to punish those accused of life imprisonment and a fine of five thousand dinars each and remove them from the Kingdom of Bahrain after the implementation of the punishment and the confiscation of seizures.
The facts of the lawsuit are due to what the Drug Enforcement Administration in the General Administration of Investigations and Forensic Evidence of the Public Prosecution is informed of information about the smuggling of the first accused of narcotic drugs to the Kingdom of Bahrain through the air port by placing it with his guts and handing it over to the second defendant, and based on the permission of the Public Prosecution arrested the first accused while he was at Bahrain International Airport if he leaves the country, and by intensifying investigations, the second accused was reached and arrested at the permission of The Public Prosecution and the seizure of narcotic substances and mental effects in his possession, and immediately after receiving the report, the Public Prosecution was interrogated, and confronted them with the seized materials and the evidence against them, and accordingly the Public Prosecution ordered that they be imprisoned to the Grand Criminal Court, which yesterday issued its advanced ruling.
