The Minister of Youth Affairs referred to the continuous efforts of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty for Humanitarian Acts and Youth Affairs, pushing towards the launch of advanced initiatives and qualitative programs that invest in the energies of youth, and contribute to harnessing all the capabilities to serve them, and enhancing their vital role in various sectors, reflecting His Highness’s faith in the ability of youth to leadership and making the difference.

The Minister of Youth Affairs pointed to the launch of the fourteenth edition of “Youth City 2030” on the thirteenth of this July, at the Bahrain World Exhibition Center, organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and in the strategic partnership with the work fund “Tamkeen”, stressing that this copy comes within a renewed vision aimed at expanding the base of youth participation, and providing qualitative training opportunities that enable them to develop their skills, and enhance their readiness to engage in the labor market in a way that qualifies them to lead Their future with confidence and competence.

Her Excellency praised the fruitful strategic partnership between the Ministry of Youth Affairs and the “Tamkeen” labor fund, which has resulted in the years to develop advanced programs, noting that this cooperation reflects a real consensus in goals, in terms of investing in national energies, and empowering young people as a basic pillar in sustainable development.

She explained that this year’s version of the city will witness a significant expansion in the number of programs and training opportunities, based on a comprehensive evaluation of previous copies, as a total of 195 specialized training programs will be presented, distributed over five main centers: science and technology, arts and culture, leadership and entrepreneurship, media and entertainment, sports and health, and the city will provide the fourteenth city of 5,500 training opportunities 84 pioneering youth projects within an area intended to display ideas and innovations to visitors and participants.

The Minister of Youth Affairs added that the current version will witness a qualitative shift by integrating artificial intelligence technologies in more than 70% of the training programs, which reflects the ministry’s keenness to keep pace with global changes and foresee the future of the labor market.

She pointed out that the Ministry, in cooperation with the “Bahrain Skills” initiative of the “Tamkeen”, formed a joint team to design innovative training programs based on the needs of the market, as well as the creation of the “Talent Committee” to evaluate the participants according to a scientific method Professional and psychological together, young people were able to start confidently towards a more balanced and successful future.
