His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him this day, prefer a visit to the youth city of 2030, accompanied by His Majesty Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the personal representative of His Majesty the great king.
Upon the arrival of His Majesty, he was in the reception, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and Chairman of the General Authority for Sports and Chairman of the Bahraini Olympic Committee, and His Excellency Mr. Ayman bin Tawfiq, Secretary -General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and His Excellency Mrs. Rawan Bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Affairs Young people, a number of senior officials and supervisors of the 2030 youth city.
At the beginning of the visit, His Majesty prefers, by listening to a briefing about the Youth City programs 2030, and the training opportunities that aim to qualify and empower Bahraini youth, by providing an integrated environment that supports the development of their skills, and enhances their readiness to contribute active in the national development process.
During the briefing, the city’s 195 training programs were reviewed, and its 5,500 various training opportunities covering a wide range of vital areas.
After that, His Majesty prefers a field tour throughout the 2030 Youth City, during which he was briefed on the five main centers hosted by the city, namely: Science and Technology Center, Center for Arts and Culture, Command and Entrepreneurship Center, Media and Entertainment Center, and Sports and Health Center.
His Majesty also prefers to visit the accompanying youth market, which includes a set of entrepreneurial initiatives and projects that reflect the creativity of Bahraini youth and their innovative spirit in the entrepreneurial sector.

At the end of the visit, His Majesty the Great King, may God protect and preserve him, praised the successive successes achieved by the Youth City 2030 since the start of its work thirteen years ago as one of the leading initiatives, indicating His Majesty that this visit comes within the framework of keenness to meet the Bahraini youth in appreciation of their constructive role in the renaissance and progress of Bahrain, and to enable the Kingdom’s youth for more creativity and refine their capabilities and develop their skills to contribute to Serving their homeland and strengthening the development process in the country, expressing his pride in Bahraini youth and giving them in our national career towards a more prosperous future.
His Majesty noted the wide participation of the ambitious Bahraini youth in this new version of the city of youth and the innovative and distinguished programs that it provides to meet their aspirations, stressing that God supported that the youth are the wealth of the most expensive homeland and the basis of its progress, and that their empowerment and enhancing their participation and presence in various fields of national action is a major priority for the Kingdom to continue its comprehensive development career.
On this occasion, His Majesty also praised the strategic programs of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, with the aim of investing in youth skills and enhancing their role in the national march.
