Campaign 100 health days
This comes within the framework of the national initiative launched by the Ministry of Health and Population, led by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, and in cooperation and integration of all concerned authorities, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership to pay attention to the health of the citizen and enhance societal awareness of the foundations of prevention and treatment.
The inauguration came in the presence of Dr. Mina Emad, Deputy Governor, Mr. Khaled Abdel Raouf, Secretary General of the Governorate Assistant, Engineer Amr Abu Al -Ayoun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce in Assiut, Dr. Mohamed Zain Al -Din Hafez, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Population in Assiut, Dr. Ahmed Sayed Musa, Undersecretary of the Health Directorate for Preventive Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Gamal, Undersecretary of the Health Affairs Directorate, and Dr. Noha Abdullah, Director of the Basic Care Department and official of the Presidential Initiatives In the governorate, along with a number of executive and popular leaders and civil society representatives.
The Governor of Assiut stressed that the campaign is an extension of the successful presidential initiatives launched by President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi in the field of public health, stressing the importance of reaching integrated health services to every citizen in his place of residence, in order to achieve the principle of “health for every citizen”, and in line with the goals of sustainable development and Egypt’s 2030 vision.
The Governor explained that the “100 Days of Health” campaign provides a comprehensive package of health, treatment and preventive services, which includes early detection of chronic and non -communicable diseases, follow -up and linking sick conditions to specialized treatment centers, reproductive health and family planning services, children’s vaccinations, early detection of cancerous tumors, health education and community awareness.

The target is efficiently as well as public and central hospitals and health units, and the provision of mobile clinics cars to provide services in villages and remote areas, to ensure comprehensive health coverage, according to a timetable and accurate distribution plan that ensures the highest rates of benefit.
The governor stressed that efforts are not limited to providing medical services only, but also extend to community awareness and health education, through field seminars, awareness activities in schools and government institutions, in addition to a digital media campaign aimed at spreading a culture of prevention and early examination.
The Governor of Assiut called on the crowds of citizens to interact with the campaign, and to benefit from the free services it provides, stressing that “100 health days” represents a qualitative shift in the health care system, and reflects the state’s commitment to the care of the Egyptian citizen healthy and psychologically, expressing his appreciation to all medical and administrative teams participating in the implementation of the campaign, appreciating the efforts of the Ministry of Health and Population and the great support that the health sector enjoys from the political leadership.
