Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met at the Ministry’s headquarters today, with Mr. Khalifa Shaheen Al -Murre, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the sisterly United Arab Emirates, on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, the path of close historical brotherly relations that link the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly United Arab Emirates, and the growth and development it witnesses at all levels, was discussed within the framework of the high directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, and his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, may God protect and take care of them.
The aspects of strengthening bilateral cooperation and upgrading have also been discussed to more comprehensive horizons in various fields in the service of mutual interests, and the aspirations of the two countries and two brotherly peoples, in addition to studying ways to enhance coordination and joint consultation in international forums, and the topics of common concern at the regional and international levels.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ali Al Mazrouei, Director of the Minister’s Office, and Mr. Hamad Al -Ghafli, Deputy Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
