The National Handball Team for Junior, led by Tariq Mahrous, defeated its counterpart, Tunisia, with a score of 40-33, in the last friendly match in the Pharaohs’ preparations for the World Handball Championship under 19 years, which Egypt hosted during the period from 6 to 17 August, with the participation of 32 teams from different continents of the world, under the slogan “Egypt receives the world”.

The first half ended with the progress of the Pharaohs with a score of 24-15, before the team continued its progress and ends the match in its favor with a score of 40-33.
The Egyptian team had won the Saudi national team with a friendly score of 35-27.
The Egyptian team is in the seventh group, accompanied by teams: Japan, South Korea and Bahrain, and Egypt is playing its confrontations at the main hall of the Cairo International Stadium.
The organizing committee of the World Championship has identified 4 halls to host matches: the main hall of the Futsal Complex covered in Cairo International Stadium – Hall 2 in the Futsal Complex covered in Cairo International Stadium – Hassan Mustafa Hall – the new administrative capital hall.
The matches of the first and second groups will be held at the Hassan Mustafa Hall in 6th of October City, the matches of the third and fourth groups at the new administrative capital hall, the fifth and sixth groups matches at the Hall 2 at Cairo Stadium, and the seventh and eighth groups matches at the main hall of Cairo Stadium.

The second group: Hungary – Switzerland – Morocco – Kosovo.
The third group: Serbia – Spain – Croatia – Algeria.

Group Five: Germany – Slovenia – Uruguay – Varu Islands.
Group Six: Norway – France – Argentina – Mexico.
Group Seven: Egypt – Japan – South Korea – Bahrain.
