The Meteorological Authority warned of the weather in Egypt today, Thursday, July 24, 2025, as the country is witnessing a very hot atmosphere.

In its statement, the commission stressed that the country has a continuation of the very heat wave throughout most parts, while the maximum temperature records about 40 degrees Celsius, with the presence of a waterwall in the early morning in some cities and governorates.

While the Greater Cairo areas, northwestern coasts and northern Lower Egypt are witnessing the presence of moderate winds at a speed of 26 km/h, and sunny weather during the daytime periods.
The areas of southern Lower Egypt, the cities of the canal, the eastern coast and central Sinai prevail, the presence of moderate winds at a speed of 28 km/h, while the winds are active at a speed of 34 km/h, on the areas of South Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges, may be exciting for sand and dust on areas of the cities of Halayeb and Shalatin, and the weather is sunny during the daytime periods on those areas.
The north of Upper Egypt is witnessing moderate winds at a speed of 28 km/h, sunny weather, while the south of Upper Egypt prevails at 32 km/h, and sunny weather during the daytime periods.
