Today, His Excellency President General Joseph Aoun, President of the sisterly Lebanese Republic, arrived in the Kingdom of Bahrain today, during which he will hold talks with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, dealing with the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, as well as discussing regional and international developments and developments.
This will meet His Majesty, the Great King, may God protect him and his sponsors, His Excellency the Lebanese President tomorrow, Wednesday, when his Excellency will be held an official reception ceremony at the Al -Qudaibiya Palace.
His Excellency His Excellency His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa was the personal representative of His Majesty the King, His Excellency Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Salman bin Isa bin Hindi Al -Mannai, Governor of Muharraq Governorate, Mrs. Mirna Khouli, the Chargé d’Affairs of the Embassy of the Lebanese Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, and a number of officials and future.
Upon his arrival in the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency President General Joseph Aoun stated:
“I am pleased that today I am inviting my brother His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, on a visit to this dear country, which comes as an affirmation of the depth of historical and fraternal ties that bring together Lebanon and Bahrain.
This visit represents a valuable opportunity to enhance the bonds of cooperation between our two brotherly countries in various political, economic and cultural fields, and to translate a practical relations that link our ancient peoples for decades.
I also look forward to the fruitful meetings with His Majesty and with senior Bahraini officials, to discuss ways to develop bilateral cooperation and exchange views on regional and international issues of common concern.
Lebanon, which is proud of its rooted relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, highly estimates its supportive positions for Lebanon in various international and regional forums, and we value Bahrain’s construction role in promoting stability and development in our Arab region.
I confirm that this visit will contribute to opening new horizons for the strategic partnership between our two countries, especially in the economic, investment and tourism fields, in a way that serves the interests of our two brotherly peoples and enhances the position of our two countries in the region that is going through difficult and accurate circumstances that require concerted efforts to restore safety and stability to them and provide bliss for their people.
