During the year 2024, the Kingdom of Bahrain recorded a remarkable increase in the number of travelers coming to it from various outlets, with the exception of Bahraini citizens, as the total number of coming during the year exceeded more than 15 million passengers, according to official statistics issued by the Bahrain Open Data Gate.
According to the data, January witnessed the highest number of arrivals, as they number more than 1.4 million passengers, followed by November, which also recorded more than 1.4 million passengers.
February and December also recorded more than 1.3 million passengers each, which reflects the increasing activity in traveling to the Kingdom during the periods of tourism and events.
As for March and April, the Kingdom received more than one million passengers and 1.2 million passengers, respectively, while May and June recorded more than 1.3 million passengers each, coinciding with the summer holidays and events held in Bahrain.
The month of July and August also witnessed a remarkable tourist flow, during which the number of arrivals reached more than 1.3 million passengers per month, which reflects the continuity of tourism activity in the summer season.
In September, the number of arrivals reached more than 1.1 million passengers, while October also recorded more than 1.1 million passengers, in connection with the maintenance of the stable polarization throughout the year.
These positive indicators confirm the success of the Kingdom’s policies in attracting visitors, as well as the efficiency of infrastructure in the air, land and sea ports, and the role of tourism activities and activities in enhancing Bahrain’s position as a favorite destination in the region.
