The Emirati humanitarian aid ship carrying various relief materials on board arrived to support Gaza residents in preparation for the transfer of its cargo into the Strip, as part of the “Al -Faris 3” operation, which the UAE launched to provide urgent humanitarian support to the Gaza population.
This step comes in response to the urgent need and the tragic reality experienced by the people of Gaza, where the suffering of hundreds of thousands of displaced and affected families is exacerbated, amid a severe lack of food, water and medicine, and the lack of basic ingredients.
The ship, which was installed in the port of Ashdod, carries 2500 tons of various aid, including food parcels and children’s parcels, and includes basic materials such as flour, dates, milk, and tea, as well as parcels that contain basic food, to support the population and mitigate their suffering and enhance their resilience in the face of harsh conditions, and the famine that threatens their lives.
The United Arab Emirates continues to send aid continuously, in all available ways, in cooperation with its humanitarian and charitable institutions, in a form that embodies the state solidarity and institutions to serve humanitarian issues, and establish its fixed approach to standing by the Palestinian people in all circumstances.
Since the start of the “Al -Faris 3” operation on November 5, 2023, the UAE has sent several aid ships to Gaza, standing alongside Palestinian families and meeting their humanitarian needs.
