The Lebanese army announced the arrest of 3 citizens for forming a cell belonging to the ISIS terrorist organization, and planning to target the army.

The army said in a statement carried by the official news agency, today, Thursday: Within the framework of monitoring and security pursuit of terrorist organizations, the Intelligence Directorate carried out a series of security operations, and its result stopped the citizens (AS), (WS) and (B.F.) to form a cell that supports the terrorist organization ISIS.
The Lebanese army statement indicated that it was found during the initial investigations that the cell planned to carry out security actions against the army under the directives of leaders of the organization outside the country, and follow -up is being done to arrest the rest of the cell members.
She indicated that the investigation with the detainees is initiated under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
