The Department of Electronic Crime in the General Administration of Anti -Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security summoned and arrested a “53 -year -old” person, after he published video clips across one of the platforms that included prejudice to one of the sects and contempt for it, in a way that provokes sedition, and harms civil peace, in the context of continuous monitoring and follow -up of what is published through social media platforms.
The Department of Electronic Crime Control confirmed that all the prescribed legal measures were taken in preparation for referring the case to the Public Prosecution, prevailing of everyone to adhere to the regulations and laws and to demonstrate social responsibility during the use of social media and e -sites, and to refrain from publishing or circulating any legal content legally.
