Since its foundation, the UAE armed forces have enjoyed unlimited support from the wise leadership, which has had early believed in the importance of building a strong and developed national army, capable of preserving national sovereignty, and keeping pace with the rapid security and military challenges in a changing regional and global environment. This support was not immediate or symbolic, but grew up on a clear strategy, which combined the comprehensive development of equipment and armament, deep investment in the human element, and the localization of defense industries to form a security and economic pillar at the same time.
