The governor explained that the beginning will be in the new Mariotia position in the Al -Sahabi Bridge area, as a preliminary model for applying the system to the rest of the service situations in the governorate, noting that the system depends on the latest technological technologies in monitoring and control.

He pointed out that the system includes monitoring parking throughout the day through fixed and mobile cameras covering the entry and exit gates and parking spaces in addition to the surrounding streets to monitor the traffic, security and organizational status in an instantaneous manner and the video is transferred directly and wirelessly to the parking room to provide accurate instant follow -up.

During a meeting with the officials of the executing company, the governor of Giza reviewed the mechanisms of registration of the entry and exit of cars electronically within a digital database, which contributes to achieving full discipline and tracking each vehicle operating in the situation.

The governor affirmed that the system allows the entry of cars through electronic gates using a magnetic card, while collecting parking fees completely electronically without human intervention, which enhances transparency and prevents manipulation.

The system also includes installing smart stickers on service cars that include vehicle data and linking them to the central monitoring system, which contributes to tightening control of operation within parking.

The Governor of Giza stressed that the application of this system comes within the framework of the state’s orientation towards digital transformation and improving the efficiency of public services, stressing that the province is keen to provide a safe and organized environment within positions that contribute to the comfort of citizens and drivers.

Al -Najjar indicated that the Mariotia position will be delivered to the service and group transportation to work in the new system as soon as all the equipment is completed, after training workers to use the system and its operating mechanisms to ensure the highest levels of efficiency and commitment.
