His Excellency Sheikh Hisham bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, received His Excellency Mrs. Ann Galindwan Lewis, Ambassador of the Philippine Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, on the occasion of the end of her work period as an ambassador for her country to the Kingdom. At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the agent welcomed His Excellency the Ambassador, praising the depth of bilateral relations and fraternal ties that bring together the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of the Philippines, and stressing the importance of continuing to promote joint cooperation and coordination in various fields of common concern. During the meeting, His Excellency Al -Wakeel expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Ambassador for her diplomatic efforts throughout her work in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and her role in supporting the march of fruitful and constructive cooperation between nationality and passports affairs and residence and the embassy of the Philippine Republic, wishing her success in her future tasks. For its part, His Excellency the Ambassador expressed its deep thanks and appreciation for the cooperation and support she received by the affairs of nationality, passports and residence, stressing her country’s keenness to continue developing areas of joint coordination between the two sides, in a way that enhances the close relations that link the two friendly countries.
