The Red Sea Governorate announced, starting today, Wednesday, the highest degree of preparedness in all the executive and service agencies, led by the cities of Halayeb and Shalatin, in light of the warnings issued by the Meteorological Authority regarding the expectation of heavy rains and activity of wind and dust during Wednesday and Thursday.

The warnings come to a number of areas in the south of the south, including Halayeb and Shalateen, where an official notification was stated to take all the preventive measures and measures necessary to deal with the expected negative effects of the instability in weather conditions.
Major General Amr Hanafi, Governor of the Red Sea, stressed the need to ensure the readiness of the equipment and technical staff, especially in the sectors of drinking water and sanitation, and fully coordination with the local and central operations rooms to deal with any emergency by taking all the preventive measures and measures necessary to deal with the expected negative effects of the state of instability in weather conditions.
While the General Meteorological Authority appealed to the competent authorities to raise the degrees of readiness in anticipation of the fall of thunderstorms of varying intensity in the areas of Abu Simbel, Aswan, Halayeb and Shalatin, it may be accompanied by an exciting winds of sand and dust that affect the vision and movement of mobility, and demanded to follow up on weather forecasts, official communications and immediate reporting of any emergency or accidents of the Central Operations Chamber.
