Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, Aladdin Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, met at the Ministry’s headquarters in the new city of El Alamein.
The meeting dealt with the discussion of strengthening aspects of cooperation between the two ministries, especially since there are opportunities for joint cooperation between the two sides in a number of fields, especially cooperation in projects that are specialized for beneficiaries of the “Takaful and Dignity” cash support program, which ensures that the first groups are enabled economically.
The partnership between the two ministries was also discussed in establishing the first permanent exhibition for “Diarna Handicrafts and Heritage”, which contributes to promoting rural development and supporting rural women and their small and medium projects, and promoting their craft and agricultural products, which would contribute to achieving economic empowerment and raising their standard of living, which also contributes to preserving the agricultural and Egyptian rural heritage, and its historical value.
The meeting also reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between the two ministries to support rural women, and provide them with the necessary skills and tools, especially since the two ministries are participating in work in the Egyptian countryside, and there are ideal opportunities for cooperation between the two sides, which contributes to creating development opportunities in the countryside of Egypt.
The meeting was attended by Rami Abbas, Advisor to the Minister of Social Solidarity for Protocol and Exhibitions, and Engineer Magdi Abdullah, Supervisor of the Central Administration for the Affairs of the Minister of Agriculture.
