In the context of the official visit by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, to the friendly United States of America, today a tripartite agreement was signed for the United Kingdom’s friendly joining the comprehensive agreement of security and prosperity (C-SIPA), based on the call from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America.
The agreement was signed at the residence of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, at the presidential hospitality house “Blair House” in the American capital, Washington, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The agreement was signed by the Bahraini side, His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Washington, while it was signed by the American side, His Excellency Mrs. Mora Namdar, the chief official of the U.S. Near East Office at the US State Department, and from the British side, His Excellency Mrs. Lucy Ferguson, Vice -President of the UK and Northern Ireland in Washington.
On this occasion, His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa stated that the comprehensive agreement of security and prosperity (C-SIPA), established the foundations for building a comprehensive framework for security integration and prosperity in the Middle East, and embodies the vision and directions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the Kingdom of Bahrain, may God protect and preserve him, and His Excellency President Donald Trump, President of the United States, Achieving peace, stability and prosperity for the countries and peoples of the region and the world, and at the same time express the current regional reality seeking peace, prosperity, construction and cooperation by finding normal relations between all countries of the region.
His Excellency the Kingdom’s ambassador to Washington praised the concrete efforts made by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, may God protect him, to expand the horizons of joint cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, and his constant keenness to document the strategic partnership between the two countries to serve their common interests and return with good and growth on both countries and two friendly peoples, the peoples of the region, the world and all humanity.
His Excellency the ambassador also praised the tripartite signature by the Kingdom of Bahrain, the United States of America and the United Kingdom for the United Kingdom’s friendly joining the comprehensive agreement of security and prosperity (C-SIPA), based on the invitation from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States Regional prosperity and the promotion of international partnerships based on common principles and values.
His Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Washington expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain welcoming the United Kingdom’s accession to this agreement, which is a multilateral framework aimed at gathering countries with common trends to enhance broader regional security integration, enhance mutual deterrence against foreign threats, and expand cooperation in the areas of trade, science and technology to support peace and prosperity in the Middle East, which will turn the agreement from a bilateral agreement into an agreement The multilateral opens the way for countries with aspirations and common goals to join them, expressing the Kingdom’s aspiration for more countries to join the agreement in a way that benefits all citizens of the countries of the region, and pushes the paths of cooperation towards wider horizons of growth and prosperity.
