These numbers do not reflect mere legal procedures, but rather embodying a firm national commitment to confronting one of the most dangerous crimes of border, and consolidating an integrated system that protects the human being, and preserves dignity, and the Kingdom of Bahrain affirms on the occasion of the International Day to Combat Human Trafficking, which falls on July 30 of each year, its pioneering position in this field, through an integrated national system that protects human rights and preserves the dignity of individuals.
While the Kingdom continues its efforts to enhance the legal and institutional structure to combat this crime, the Public Prosecution recorded 6 procedures related to arresting accused and referring them to the competent courts in cases related to trafficking in persons, which reflects the state’s seriousness in strictly addressing illegal practices in the labor market, and ensuring the protection of victims.
2024 .. Perzaovi’s results, the framework of the harvest last year, an official report revealed that during the year 2024, the Public Prosecution began 22 cases of trafficking in persons, and investigations resulted in the arrest of 50 involved, while 41 of the victims were provided, as part of a series of complementary procedures between the security, judicial and supervisory authorities.

Since the launch of this system, the Kingdom has implemented a series of prominent initiatives, the most prominent of which is:
• Establishing the first comprehensive center for the protection and support of expatriate workers in 2015. • The inauguration of the flexible work permit in 2017.
“The Public Prosecution” … a deterrent justice confirmed by the Attorney General d. Ali bin Fadl Al -Buainain that the Kingdom of Bahrain was one of the first countries in establishing a prosecutor specialized in crimes of trafficking in persons, which reflects the state’s awareness of the nature of this crime and its complications.
He pointed out that the prosecution takes strict judicial measures, ensuring the speed of investigation and separation, protecting victims and witnesses through an integrated referral system, and offices dedicated to providing legal and administrative support.
The Public Prosecutor explained that all these efforts are managed within a participatory national action plan that guarantees an integrated and effective response, and contributes to raising the level of judicial performance, and achieving criminal justice effectively and transparently. In order to enhance its location as a regional center in this field, Bahrain launched a regional center for training in combating human trafficking, working in partnership with international and international organizations, to train employees in outlets and security, health and judicial centers to identify potential victims and victims, and raise the capabilities of trainers and experts working in this field.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority also continues its awareness efforts through multi -language campaigns, providing guidelines, and introducing employment to their rights upon their arrival in Bahrain, in cooperation with embassies, diplomatic missions and civil society institutions.
