Jassim Mohamed Al -Badawi, Secretary -General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, said that the countries of the Cooperation Council, through its technical committees, are keen to complete the railway project in the GCC countries as planned, to achieve more development and luxury for their people.
This came during the attendance of the meeting of the developments of the Gulf Cooperation Council railway project today, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh, with the participation of senior officials of the General Secretariat, the Director General of the Gulf Railways Authority and its relevant team.
During the meeting, the Secretary -General briefed on the visual presentation, from the director of the authority to review the railway project in the countries of the Council, and see the progress of business and coordination between the GCC countries.
He praised the advanced levels and efforts made by the teams concerned with the Gulf Cooperation Council states and the Gulf Railways Authority, to complete this project according to the planned stages, and urged the authority to double and enhance efforts to achieve this project, in order to achieve the aspirations of the peoples of the Cooperation Council states, towards achieving an important aspect of the desired Gulf integration.
