Saudi women ranked first in the Arab world in the annual report on empowering Arab women in development and decision -making bodies for the year 2025 AD issued by the Center for Arab Women’s participation studies of the Arab Women Authority.

The percentage of Saudi women’s participation in the labor market increased, for example, from 19% in 2016 to 38% in 2024 AD, and this development embodies the success of women’s integration policies in various economic sectors.

The unemployment rate among women also decreased from 33.7% in 2016 to less than 11% in 2024 AD. The comparative official statistics also showed that the percentage of Saudi women’s entrepreneurship is the highest in the region.

The report indicates that the number of lawyers increased from 618 lawyers in 2019 to 3180 lawyers in 2024.

Al -Alusi added that the annual report monitored with great admiration for the increasing number of female students enrolled in the study of the external scholarship program in prestigious universities in the United States of America, Britain, Australia, Germany, South Korea and Japan to 15690 thousand students, including 4178 studying at the doctoral stage, which is the highest rate ever in addition to 2812 in the master’s stage.

The report also recorded the high rate of publishing scientific research classified, especially in international scientific journals and leagues, to 91%.

The report has proven that the number of female doctors obtaining the American Board is the largest Arab and the Middle East, especially from some prestigious American universities such as Harvard, Jones Hopkins, Stanford and California.

The report talked about the development of Saudi women’s participation in the diplomatic corps and regional and international organizations, so that the Saudi doctor d.
