In a move that reflects the growing presence of the Bahraini media on the Arab scene, the writer and political analyst Saad Rashid received an official invitation from the Arab Media Association for Sustainable Development to join its membership, to be the first media from the Kingdom of Bahrain as a member of the Arab Assembly specializing in development media.
Saad Rashid is one of the prominent names in the Gulf media scene, where he was known for his weekly analytical articles that monitor regional and international political transformations, in addition to his appearance on several visual and written platforms concerned with strategic affairs in the Middle East.
In a statement to him, Rashid expressed his pride in this call, stressing that his participation comes from the premature belief in the role of the media in serving sustainable development, building awareness, and promoting joint Arab dialogue, stressing that the Kingdom of Bahrain has media energies capable of contributing the active in this promising Arab path.
This call comes to reflect the pioneering position occupied by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the Arab Ocean, where the Kingdom has established through decades a fixed approach in supporting the unity of the Arab class and promoting joint development work, based on the insightful vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the monarch of the country, and a continuation of the comprehensive development approach that enjoys follow -up and attention from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince.
It should be noted that the Arab Media Association for Sustainable Development was established in Cairo in May 2025, and includes a group of media professionals from various Arab countries, and aims to unify media efforts to serve development issues in the Arab world, through a system of work in which the media, environmental, sports and economic dimensions are integrated.
