His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, issued Resolution No. (44) of 2025 to reconstitute the National Childhood Committee, based on the offer of the Minister of Social Development, and after the approval of the Council of Ministers, it stated:
Article 1
The National Childhood Committee headed by the Minister of Social Development, and the membership of each of:
1- Assistant Undersecretary for Community Development – representing the Ministry of Social Development
2- Member of the Supreme Council for Women – representing the Supreme Council for Women
3- The Chief of the Family and Children’s Prosecution – a representative of the Public Prosecution
4- Director of Vocational Inspection and Safety Department – representing the Ministry of Labor
5- Director of the Radio Administration – Representative of the Ministry of Information
6- Head of the Human Rights Affairs Sector – representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
7- Director of Licensing and Follow -up Department of Early Education – representing the Ministry of Education
8- Assistant legal advisor – representing the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments
9- Head of the Juvenile Center – representing the Ministry of Interior
10- Head of the Child Protection Unit in Electronic Space – representing the Ministry of Interior
11- Consultant in government hospitals – representing the Ministry of Health
12- Head of the Department of Psychology – Representative of the University of Bahrain
13- Head of the Youth Creativity Center – representing the Ministry of Youth Affairs
14- Children’s Rights Commissioner – Representative of the National Human Rights Corporation
15- The Head of Development Educational Supervision for Riyadh and Civilization, represented by the Association for Child Welfare and Motherhood
16- President of our responsibilities association – representing our responsibility association
The bodies stipulated in the items (2), (8), (11) and (14) of the previous paragraph are determined by those who represent them in the membership of the committee.
The term of membership in the committee is two years, renewable.
Article Two
The ministers – each regarding it – must implement this decision, and it is made from the date of its issuance, and it is published in the Official Gazette.
