The Directorate of Health Affairs in Menoufia Governorate announced the adoption of a new price list reduced by surgeries within the Central Sadat Hospital after the hospital conducted a comprehensive review of the costs of surgical interventions in coordination with the ministry and the competent authorities, in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Health and Population aimed at reducing financial burdens on patients and raising the efficiency of government services.

The Directorate emphasized that the move comes in a direct response to the instructions of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population regarding the expansion of the umbrella of basic health care, while ensuring that integrated therapeutic services are commensurate with various social segments without prejudice to quality standards or infection control, and the reduction included most general surgeries, women’s surgeries, obstetrics and bones, in a way that contributes to providing service to a greater number of citizens within the Sadat Center and the surrounding areas.
For his part, the Board of Directors of Sadat Central Hospital explained that the new prices were subjected to a detailed review of the actual costs, so that the supplies, devices and medicines cover without downloading additional burdens, while continuing to provide trained medical sets and modern devices inside the operating rooms.
The Board of Directors of Sadat Central Hospital stressed that the hospital is committed to providing a safe service that maintains the safety of patients and guarantees their comfort, while continuing development procedures and raising the efficiency of medical and technical teams.
The hospital administration also announced the strengthening of communication channels with citizens with the aim of receiving inquiries and complaints through the public relations department daily throughout the official working hours, stressing that any patient can see the updated prices or reserve an appointment to perform surgery by going directly to the citizen service window or calling the hotline number 15300 to respond and provide the necessary support immediately.

It should be noted that this initiative comes in the context of the state’s efforts to strengthen the primary health care system, and to achieve the principle of justice in obtaining distinguished treatment services, especially for the limited income groups, which reflects positively on the public health index in Menoufia Governorate and enhances the confidence of citizens in government hospitals.
