Therefore, safe leadership not only protects drivers, but also helps them protect their families and loved ones and avoid many psychological, economic and social damages.
Psychological, legal and insurance consultants told Al -Watan that the most prominent behaviors and actions of reckless leadership: excessive speed, sudden changes, and preoccupation with a mobile phone while driving, or driving in a state of anger and tension; Which leads to aggression against others, as well as reducing the distance between cars, which leads to dangerous collisions, and others.
They emphasized that these behaviors lead to the threat of road safety, serious traffic accidents, and the exacerbation of material damage, as well as psychological problems, whether for those who committed incidents or their victims, and is one of the main reasons for increasing insurance costs. Among its repercussions is the erosion of roads and the damage of traffic signals, which requires additional budgets to repair damage, in addition to the social effects that cannot be ignored. Every accident causes the loss of life or injury to a person who spreads feelings of sadness and pain between families and societies.
They demanded that the perpetrators of these behaviors and behavior should obtain psychological and family assistance, so that road accidents do not increase, while obligating violators of rehabilitation and traffic education programs similar to successful regional experiences, and thickening penalties when repeating wrong behaviors, in addition to continuing traffic awareness campaigns to enhance security and road safety.
