Dr. Amr Al -Wardani, Secretary of the Fatwa at the Egyptian Ifta House, said that psychological pressure and life pressures are not absolutely evil as some think, but rather it is a “divine function” that has a fundamental role in self -raising, the manufacture of steadfastness and certainty.

Al -Wardani added, during the episode of “With People”, broadcast on Al -Nas channel, today, Wednesday: “The pressure is a spiritual and psychological stimulant that awakens a person to be honest with himself, noting that God Almighty did not create pressure in vain, but for a wisdom that restores a person to two important questions: Why do we press? Then how do we withstand?
He explained that steadfastness in the face of pressure is not a temporary moment, but rather a long -term building, its base of certainty and piety, and the ability to face life with steadfastness and faith, adding: “steadfastness is the psychological and faith construction that proves a person in the face of the destiny of different life, as in the Almighty saying: {God is proven by those who believe.”
Al -Wardani pointed out that the pressure is a year of the age of life and is not an exhibited emergency, for a person goes through pressure in all his conditions, whether at the capacity, prosperity or at the distress and need, adding: “Even the money is a lot of sometimes we press us, when we fear that we will be extravagant or sowing, or when we fear that the world has our hearts.”
He emphasized that our understanding of pressure negatively as torture, obscures many of the good deeds and meanings that God has prepared for us, citing the saying of the Prophet ﷺ: “Wonder about the command of the believer, if his command is all good …”, the believer realizes that the pressures are a way to understand the Sunnah of God in the universe and build a balanced man who knows how he stands with confidence and certainty.
