During the past 24 hours, Port Said Governorate witnessed continuous efforts at all levels in neighborhoods and service sectors, in implementation of the directives of Major General Moheb Habashi, Governor of Port Said, to improve the standard of living and public services provided to citizens, and raise the efficiency of infrastructure and health.
Executive efforts in Port Said Governorate
The executive bodies in the suburbs implemented an expanded field campaign to remove the occupations and encroachments in the Mubarak region and a number of vital streets, and the campaign resulted in the lifting of vegetables, fruit, handcrafted vehicles, chamomas and suns, while alerting the shop owners to adhere to the regulation line and take legal measures towards the violators, by following Shaima Al -Ezbi, the acting of the head of the neighborhood.
Within the framework of the third stage of the 26th wave to remove encroachments on the lands of the state, the Al -South neighborhood was able to remove two cases of a violating fish farms in the Sahl area, south of Al -Husayniyah, on an area of 40 acres and 2 carats, with the participation of the Agriculture Directorate and Security Forces, in the continuation of campaigns to recover state property and implement decisive removal decisions.
On the other hand, the work of raising the efficiency of public hygiene continued in the Al -Zuhur neighborhood, where an enlarged campaign was carried out in the Omar Bin Al -Khattab area, during which garbage and waste, and sweeping the streets, were raised, with the participation of environmental improvement teams, equipment and cars of the neighborhood, under the supervision of Major General Ayman Subhi Qalani, head of the neighborhood, in response to the demands of the people and in order to create a clean and safe environment.
In a strong batch of the public health file, the Port Said Health Directorate announced the launch of a 100 -day health campaign starting from Tuesday, July 15, 2025, in all health units, centers, hospitals and fields, with the aim of expanding the scope of presidential initiatives, and reaching the largest number of beneficiaries, within the initiatives of 100 million health, in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Health Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, and with the follow -up of the governor.
The campaign includes providing services for detecting chronic diseases, women’s health, family planning, mother and fetus health, examination of hearing impairment, genetic diseases and vaccinations, through mobile and fixed medical teams, with strict control over food installations and water stations.
In a related context, Major General Abdel Hamid Esmat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Drinking Water and Sewerage Company in the governorates of the Canal, announced the launch of intensive campaigns for the work of clearing the sewage networks and airways in Suez, Ismailia, and Port Said, to prevent tears and obstacles, especially with the increase in water consumption in the summer, using fountain cars, rams and emergency teams spread in the field.
