During the past 24 hours, Port Said Governorate witnessed important events, most notably the continuation of inspection campaigns on the markets of meat and poultry, and the implementation of the decisions to close the shops for rationalization, in addition to the end of the high school marathon, and the closure of the door for candidacy for the Senate elections.
Executive efforts in Port Said Governorate
The Veterinary Medicine Directorate in Port Said continued its intensive inspection campaigns on the markets in cooperation with the Directorate of Supply, Supply Investigation and the Food Safety Authority, and the campaign that targeted the flower market resulted in the seizure of a quantity of deadly poultry offered for sale as slaughtered, the necessary records were edited and legal measures were taken.
In the suburban neighborhood, Shaima Al -Ezbi, the Acting President of the neighborhood, followed the efforts of the executive bodies to follow up the commitment of the shops to the official closing dates issued by the Council of Ministers to rationalize the consumption of electricity, as the shops were passed and the closure was confirmed at 11 pm throughout the week, and 12 midnight on Thursday and Friday, while extending the work hours of cafes and restaurants until 1 am at the end of the week.
The governorate also witnessed the conclusion of the high school exams in a calm atmosphere, amid preparations from the Directorate of Education to secure the transfer of the answer sheets and equipping the correction work, with the continued cleaning campaigns and the raising of occupations in all neighborhoods.
In the election file, the door for candidacy for the Senate elections in Port Said was closed, to settle the competition for the individual seat between Captain Ahmed Jawhar, the candidate of the Future Watan Party, the symbol of pen No. 1, and Chancellor Mohamed Safa, the candidate of the Awareness Party, the code of ISIS No. 2, while the Hama Al -Watan Party represents the candidate Muhammad Salama on the list seat.
