The Department of Public Works in Sharjah announced the implementation of a partial closure of the university city road that extends from the intersection of Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi Street, to the Zawaya Walk project in Al -Shahba area, as part of the work of the middle line for rainwater drainage and groundwater, which is implemented by the department to enhance infrastructure and absorb the increasing amounts of rain during the coming seasons. The closure began yesterday, Tuesday, and lasts for 40 days until August 25, and the works include the development of drainage networks, tubes and infrastructure associated with water drainage, ensuring the flow of water movement in times of thick rains and limiting their gathering in vital roads. as
