Our national team achieved a historic victory over the Egyptian team for the first time in its history, by its superiority with a score of 91 compared to 85 in the meeting that brought them together in the fourth round of the Arab Championship for Men’s Basketball Team in its twenty -sixth edition held in the Kingdom of Bahrain at the Khalifa Sports City Hall.
The match witnessed a strong competition between both parties, with a relative superiority in favor of our team at the beginning of the match, where our team advances at times, and the Egyptian team returns at other times to advance and a slight difference between both parties.
Al -Ahmar grabbed the hope for the title despite the difficulty of this, which requires our team’s victory in its next two confrontations against Algeria and Kuwait, and the teams of Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria are exposed to more than one defeat, especially as it has 6 points in its balance.
On the other hand, the Tunisian team won its victory over the UAE 78 against 70, to raise the Carthage Eagles to 7 points at the top of the championship ranking.
The Algerian national team continued its successive victories by achieving its third victory and the sixth point that made it second place, with a difference of points registered on the UAE team.
