Openai has launched a new feature known as the Chatgpt Agent in the MacOS application, which is currently available for the chat of the Chatgpt Plus package only.

When opening the ChatGPT app on the Mac, a new option will appear in the toolbar below the input window, and when it is selected, the user automatically moves to the agent’s position.
And if the button does not appear, it can be accessed by writing “Chat GBT” in the application’s search bar, and a list of options will appear, including “Agent’s mode”.
What is the status of the agent?
The agent can perform complex tasks, such as planning for wedding parties or preparing integrated offers based on data that is automatically collected.
Openai describes this function as “Chat GBT that can think and act, and choose the necessary skills from his tools available to perform tasks on your behalf, as if he is a personal assistant working on your device.”
More integration with the operating system
The Chat GB desktop app on Mac has a stronger integration of the web version, as it can be run from anywhere on the screen using the Option + Space keyboard, and on Windows, this is done via Alt + Space.
In addition, the desktop release supports the advanced sound mode, which allows speaking with Chat BT directly via the actual microphone, enhancing the interactive use experience.
Will the agent’s position reach the Windows version?
Although ChatGPT is also available for Windows devices, the agent’s position has not yet been added to that version, and the company commented that the update will gradually reach in the coming stages.
