“All that they say is illiteracy, I want to go to my soul, but with my age .. Age runs with me and was busy raising my daughters, namely my testimony.” Those words, Mrs. Fatima Ali, the same 76 -year -old, started to recount her story with literacy, after she passed the exam and achieved her dream, within the framework of the initiative “No illiteracy with takaful” carried out by the Ministry of Social Solidarity under the supervision of Dr. Morsi The Minister of Social Solidarity, which targets the literacy of the family of the “Takaful” program.
During her conversation with Cairo 24, the lady, who crawls about 77 years of age, explained that she enrolled in the school in her childhood and left her in the classroom class, after the death of her father when she was in her first years of age, and the family did not have enough to complete her education, and she married about two years later as she approached the 15 years of her life.
And in an updated accent in which satisfaction is manifested, the daughter of Aswan says: “I got married even without permission .. I got married to the light for my young age and then we wrote the book .. I was forbidden to teach because of the house and raising my children I was busy with them .. Praise be to God, they remained my teaching and my children’s degrees”, and despite her preoccupation with raising children throughout her years of life, her mind did not leave the teaching of reading and writing. “I was holding the Qur’an and trying to read what I can, and the rest are the most sought after.”
She added: All that they say is illiteracy, I want to go, but I will go away from my age and I do not have a soul .. To some extent, my granddaughter took me, she said to me, I go to literacy, I told her, the rest of the age, not much .. I was learning at home and on the day of the exam I went to the center and examined.
And about her feeling the moment she passed the literacy exam, describing it as an indescribable feeling, a mixture between joy and remorse for her years of life that she spent in the darkness of illiteracy, saying: “My feelings and my joy in the pen holding the pen are not described .. And I thought of my life who went in illiteracy was my time with me in the Bachelor.”
The woman was able to erase her illiteracy in about 4 months, and now after passing the exam, she was waiting for the return of her young grandchildren, whose number exceeds 11 grandchildren from the school, to read books and magazines with them and read, adding: “I remained by saying my daughters who give the young children to hold the pen and learn to hold it, education is the most important need in the world .. even with the hands of the time, I will learn and take a university degree.”
