Counselor Hazem Badawi, head of the National Elections Authority, announced, during a press conference, that opened the door for candidacy for the Senate elections on Saturday, July 5, until Thursday, July 10, that is daily from nine in the morning until five in the evening.

Meanwhile, Counselor Ahmed Bandari, Director of the Executive Agency of the National Elections Authority, said that the authority has carried out many logistical measures in preparation for the Senate elections.
Bandari explained, during the National Elections Conference, that the procedures included managing the needs of the polling committees, allocating guidelines for people with inspiration from visual disabilities, and training more than 10,000 members of the judicial bodies.
He stressed that a number of procedures were created to facilitate the participation of people with disabilities in the electoral process of the Senate, noting that the voter database is updated in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and Defense, as well as coordination with the Foreign Ministry to prepare the election headquarters for Egyptians abroad.
